Such as disappointing end to the tournament with the weather coming through. PNG girls looked a class above & would have been a great final in the boys.

Couple of shining lights in the aussie a side, Manenti has a lot to work with going forward. For me Bacon must be bloody close to a call up.

Damn that's a coupla pretty decent squads you guys are putting together.

Hope you get smashed in Dubai, BTW:)

Not a chance! lol

On all the socials haven't seen southwell in the ground of any at all, looks like we have lost her to league.

We have an aussie a team going over to play in the 7's festival in dubai in the lead up to the hsbc event so that will be an indicator of who is on the verge of the squad

Not necessarily, NRL haven't agreed to a CBA for 2023 and beyond yet, technically all NRLW player are off contract until the NRL and RLPA on salary caps and wages for next season.

I've seen them out training at Moore Park, it was a surprisingly large squad and there's quite a few faces i dont recognise in the mix.

Dare say he would be in the extended tahs squad when that comes out maybe thats why he's not on this tour as they are away for 2 weeks as opposed to 4 days

Thought Darby was good in HK but good to see JM building a squad Gonzalez adds some travel experience to the group

**** I read here they are both injured

NZ women will be missing some big names: Hirini, Woodman, Fluhler & Fitzpatrick have re-committed to sevens but have to transition back from XV's so probably won't play until Hamilton. Ruby Tui yet to decide whether to go back to sevens or stay with XV's.

As above, some development players named in the NZ women's squad while the XV's players recover from WRWC & get back into sevens mode.

Michaela Blyde, Kelly Brazier, Jazmin Felix-Hotham, Tysha Ikenasio, Shiray Kaka, Jorja Miller, Tyla Nathan-Wong, Manaia Nuku, Mahina Paul, Risi Pouri-Lane, Terina Te Tamaki, Kelsey Teneti, Niall Williams and Tenika Willison.

Much more experienced look about the men's squad even with Dylan Collier & Ngarohi McGarvey-Black not travelling:

Kurt Baker, Leroy Carter, Che Clark, Tepaea Cook-Savage, Sam Dickson, Moses Leo, Tone Ng Shiu, Amanaki Nicole, Lewis Ormond, Akuila Rokolisoa, Brady Rush, Caleb Tangitau, Regan Ware and Joe Webber.

TimMikkelson targeting Hamilton for his return from injury.

Your boys are in the group of death again as well, the team that misses out could also have won it

Looking at the draw I see several instances of two men's or women's games at the same time with both being broadcast or streamed. That's improvement on the time pre-Covid when half the women's games didn't get shown because the ground they played on didn't have broadcast facilities.

Prob should go in general chat but here goes anyway,

Cant get a list anywhere of the aus a girls squad, but can all over socials is Burraneer Rays, Two Blues & Bond uni squads which is kinda frustrating. But anyway Aus A girls beat the Czech Republic 40 - 7 in their 1st game of the International Womens Invitational & the Rays beat Uzbekistan 45 zip in the International Womens open. The boys start later tonight.
