1.Sekope Kepu
2.Stephen Moore
3.Ben Alexander
4.James Horwill
5.Nathan Sharpe
6.Rocky Elsom
7.David Pocock
8.Radike Samo

17.Salesi Ma'afu
18.Dan Vickerman
19.Scott Higginbotham
20.Luke Burgess
21.Anthony Fainga'a
22.Lachie Turner

Planned subs would be at the 50 minute mark.
Vickerman for Sharpe
Higginbotham for Samo
A.Fainga'a for either Mccabe or AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper).

Would Deans be able to select TPN if he got threw 40 minutes against Canada the night before?

Stirling Mortlock (74)
I'd have the same 22 except I'd start Vickerman for Sharpe. I think it would be too early to throw TPN and co. in for a massive game.

I like your backline bench options Barbarian I was tempted to go with Fainga'a & Mccabe in the centres but was worried they are similar players but maybe having two hard straight running players is a good thing.

I like this side. Even though A.Fainga'a is being looked at as a 13, I would like to see him have a run at 12 in between Cooper and AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper).
Plus Vickerman on to the bench in place of Simmons and it looks good.
He could also go for a 5:2 split and give Turners bench spot to Hodgson or Robinson.

I don't think any of the blokes having fitness tests today will get a spot. I expect them to play for the Barbarians side the night before instead. Expect Vickerman will play Barbarians as well so he gets another full 80 mins.

So with janesslipper and drew Mitchell undertaking fitness tests today, no one has considered either option for a bench spot? Interesting.

For mine, this is the last big test before the cup. Assuming new Zealand have a bp win in SA, wresting the 3N trophy will be a hard ask. would we be better served giving these 2 some game against quality opposition?

Sharpe for Vickerman
Higginbotham for Samo

Seems like there is a few areas of selection where everyone differs.

1) Samo or Higger - A hard one for me. I think Higgers should probably be given the benfit of the doubt and another chance to start but he is possibly shaping as one of those guys how is best used as an impact player off the bench. Samo could make a great impact in the first 50 minutes.

2) Start Tony Finger? - Some people think AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) or McCabe should be pushed to the bench. I'd be minded to leave things as they are. I'm relatively happy with how this centre pairing is developing. Finger off the bench for me.

3) Vickerman or Simmons - Vickerman in my mind is pure gold and must be getting close to top form now. Perfectly suited to Bledisloe games.

4) Returning stars on the bench? - I think they will benefit more from 80 minutes against canada than sitting on the bench and possibly not being used at all.

Pretty good lineup, Cutter, but I'd prefer to have McCabe at 13 and Angaa at 12.

Couldn't agree more, Pat's size and hard running look to be more suited at 13 rather than 12 in the long run. But he's done very well at inside centre so far and I'd leave him there for the time being.

I like this team except I would swap Turner for Beau Robinson. I'd prefer 5/2 against the Kiwis. I wouldn't try and use TPN.
If Crocket plays, I would try and use S Fainga'a's substitution accordingly.
If Crocket is on the bench this will be ok. If Crocket starts then Moore might have to play 80 mins.

No one (even those with 5 man benches) has picked Hodgson yet? I would have him on the bench alongside S Fa'ainga, Slipper, Vickerman, Higgenbotham, Burgess and AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper).
