Well he didn't miss many at Super level. The wallaby backline defense was rubbish during the RC.

Tomane's defensive hit rate was about on par with the other Australian wingers. Wasn't noticeably better or worse. Don't forget that Tomane hit a poor patch of form this year and got dropped for Rathbone.

I wouldn't say that Tomane is any better or worse than CFS or the other guys under consideration.

Wow, surprising.

Harris at 12, Lilo at 13, CFS on the wing.

Betham not considered, so White and Phipps on the bench with Foley. Phipps covering wing, I guess.

I hope we pull this one off with such a disjointed backline, and Phipps as wing cover.

Actually, going to tip Scotland by 21 (7 penalties)

Laidlaw will take penalties if necessary, and I understand you probably didn't see much of the Quadrangular series, but we've gone 5 tests without a kickfest, 6 if you count the game against France, so I'm not sure where your getting this kick to win mindset from.

TBH I'm not really surprised/ concerned with that (starting) backline. Phipps on the wing is certainly a strange one but apparently betham isnt allowed to even be on the bench?

Lilo has some serious pace from what i've seen so it makes sense to play him at 13 and harris, who has shit all pace, at 12. Both goal kickers that can take some pressure off of quade as well.

Good luck to them, it's going to be a bloody interesting backline! True test of whether quade can get them firing.

This is certainly going to be interesting, I wonder who is going to be first choice kicker. Would have to say Harris is the most consistent.

Nah man, personally id go lilo. His recent kicking form has been simply incredible. We havent seen much of harris' kicking at top level this year and what we have seen has been pretty average...

It's not that out there, apart from Lilo. Harris is familiar with Quade, Folau and Tomane should be business as usual and CFS will play the roving wing that Cummins was. Not all that confident if they decide to bomb the wings all night though.

Preferably not under the ball or they'll end up with Izzy's knees in their back. Just step aside and be there to aplaud.

Lealiifano at 13?

Some-one answer this question for me.

If Betham was never going to be match fit by the time he got there and was only flying over for the last game then why didn't tMckenzie just fly Spreight over. I heard he would be eligible by the last game.
