I've had a bit less exposure there as they had the boys on one pitch and girls on another for much of the day. But from what I have seen, the NSW Blue team has looked slick and athletic and the WA team have some real talent, esp the diminutive no 2 who persists in backslamming much bigger opposition, winning turnover ball and scoring fleet footed 5 pointers from all parts of the paddock. What is apparent is the lack of ego in the Girls game - they play talented, technically gifted rugby with all the skills on display, but it's rare you see the overplay of hand that can creep into the boys game. It's all about promoting the ball to the player who is better placed to do something with it than you are. Wonderful to watch.
