There is always talk of importing/scholarships etc and that is best left to the Scholarship thread.
Usually player movements occur after selection in SJRU or Country U15, or similar for NSW Schools, NSW Country or SJRU U16 selection. Some of these movements are driven by the parents quest for perceived better education and rugby opportunities, some driven by Schools (or entities associated with a school) themselves.
While the teams for 2013 yet to be announced, and this will confirm whether movements between schools have happened or not, my mail is that there has been very little movement from the U16 cohort, and little if any from U15. There had been some talk of a set of brothers from Auggies moving to Scots, but this appears to be more wishful thinking and rumour mongering.
Season 2011 and 2012 saw a few lads changing schools in a manner that some have claimed are typical of "importing". I am not sure that the numbers doing similar in 2013 will be as high as those two years.
My mail is that more kids have moved north of the Tweed River to complete their schooling than have moved between schools in NSW.
