this is getting a run over in the NSW schools thread. As I understand it, they need to commit to rugby for a certain period after the tour - 12 months?
I recall that Tyrone Smith couldn't tour with the Australian Schoolboys, because he couldn't sign the agreement, as he was already contracted to a league club.

4 years ago, around the time to announce the squad to tour the UK, it was realised that Tyson Frizzel was listed on the Sharks website as a contracted player.
After much hand wringing, it was declared that it was absolutely an error and his name and photo was removed the the squad from their website.
Funnily enough just after he returned home, he had a change of heart and played for the Sharks.
Who would have thought?
There is no mechanism to tie any junior rep player to the game ATM.
I'm happy for anyone to be picked,as long as they reimburse their holiday expenses when they turn the back on this game.
They are slow learners this has been going on since Wally Lewis had his European vacation paid for by the ARU as a schoolboy.
Also your memes about TSC are as creative as 15 year olds demonstrate on apps like snap chat - what's your username again?
Following this commentary over the last few days, I have taken a moment today to review the TSC lineup for '13. The results are this:
In '13, 18 boys have taken the field, of which 4 started at TSC in Prep, 9 started in Year 7, 3 started Year 10, 2 started Year 11. The Year 10 boys - 1 in an international student (pretty common for international students to attend from year 10 or 11), 1 is an indig bursary (with the expansion of the indig program at TSC) and 1 of the Year 11 starters has a dad & grandfather who are old boys. The remaining 2 I am unsure.
At the TSC rugby lunch last week it was commented that against Kings, TSC won 90% of the 30-odd fixtures that day. Is that a school that is focusing solely on a 1st XV title?
How many boys from Scots made the primary schools CIS team in 2012?Following this commentary over the last few days, I have taken a moment today to review the TSC lineup for '13. The results are this:

Well may we question the intentions of Tight head Lion, a seemingly disgruntled ex-employee of 2 GPS schools (& seems to be angling for a job at Grammar now). Your Rugby 7s tournament comment is a sad reflection of the delusional world that only you live in - I could find no student who has popped up at TSC after attending that tournament.
With boys who were at other private schools and suddenly lobbed at TSC.Following this commentary over the last few days, I have taken a moment today to review the TSC lineup for '13. The results are this:

Success at the boatshed must be a relative thing for TSC. it's been a long time between drinks and that's a premiership you cannot buy.Lets not focus on the article now, THL. The reality is you are a disgruntled employee, you never lead a program yourself or coached at a standard above U12s. Do you remember sitting in he playground with your JOEYS rugby socks pulled up the day before TSC v SJC with a loud speaker - preaching 'scots boys, you are about to meet your maker tomorrow' - weird maybe? pity about the result as well.
For those few that take stock in THL's attack on TSC, the reality is the depth of success is now demonstrated in the boat shed, basketball court, cricket pitch and soccer. Lets put aside the 1sts teams results, and look at the level of programming, resume of coaching staff of juniors and overall winning %, that's where TSC is focused now.
BAck to Facebook for THL, middle aged man with 15 year old friends.
good on TSC if kids are choosing to come in Yr 7 - Apprently their waiting list in yr 7 is enormous. Don't quite get your argument. Kids don't come to a new school for $$ reasons, they want to be in an environment that is going to progress their learning and development. As if a new kid cares about winning a GPS/CAS/ISA tournament, they want to get better themselves first and foremost. And if TSC can provide that good on them. Isn't Newignton the ones bringing kids in late? they don't have any success down the grades in any sport really.
More sudansese basketballers, water polo/tennis you name it. Apparently their cricket guy attends all the NSW camps.

Hmmm - 14 wins 17 losses 2 draws against Shore who went 3 and 39 against Joeys. Most of the wins in A/Bs - nuff said. As you say winning with depth is enjoyable but winning without scholarships is even more enjoyable.Correct assessment - they also won 16A, 15a, 14a and 13a vs shore - this was also the case vs kings
In fact the team to watch at scots is the third XV - a great representation of depth of skill, tactical play and physical development
Winning with depth is far more enjoyable than just a top team being successful. This is not discussed or highlighted in Captain Kirks note, or THLs rant ??
Two, one of whom made the NSWPSSA team (Grammar Edgecliff and Newington Prep also had a CIS representative each)How many boys from Scots made the primary schools CIS team in 2012?
How many boys from the CIS team turned up at Scots in 2013?
I haven't seen THLs comment on the rugby 7s but the advertising and sponsorship certainly set a new low in taste.
One may be able to buy class on the rugby field but not elsewhere.

I suspect none.
Its a school - if they cant afford to stage it they should either stop giving away money to sportmen, hock the hyperbaric chamber or have another rah rah rugby lunch.Believe or not it, but advertising is apparently used quite frequently in the real world to help defray costs
As soon as I became aware that mercenary, tasteless behaviour had reached a new low I started a thread. Waste some more of your time and search for it.Where was your righteous indignation when your beloved Grammar attended a few years ago
