I got through about 5mins of the video. That's pretty self indulgent by the school.
Was the Scots production designed as a promo for the school or the coaching staff? Judging from the narration it was a professional paid promo, rather than a student production. I mean seriously, they've beaten Cranbrook 18 times out of 19, which means even when they were being beaten by Grammar in GPS matches they still beat Cranbrook. I'd like to know the final score - even fast forwarding it all I saw was Scots scoring.
An intelligent young man in the Grammar clip, nice to see a school proud of its scholars.
A very articulate young man, the school should be proud of him.The school took no formal role other than permitting the use of Big School.
Unhelpful observation - we don't need IS, Cyclo, and Strokeside wasting time compiling win/loss stats for the past 48 years. I think you will find Grammar were pretty competitive for most of the seventies. A random stat - Grammar has beaten Scots 9 out last 15 HOTRs with 1 win and 5 podium finishes. When has Grammar regularly beat anyone (post 1965). I would guess they have more first xv wooden spoons than anyone else, post '65? Hey but that's a guess, no-one keeps count.

of the 6 schools in the 1st XV comp, Shore was 6th in rugby and 1st in HSC and Scots was the inverse. Btw when did Shore suddenly become an academic powerhouse amongst the GPS?
When the school decided to be an educational facility many years ago. it seems to have worked a treat, wouldn't you say?of the 6 schools in the 1st XV comp, Shore was 6th in rugby and 1st in HSC and Scots was the inverse. Btw when did Shore suddenly become an academic powerhouse amongst the GPS?
I wouldn't waste my fucking time, that's for sure. What's the point? None. For one thing, it matters not a bit, and for another, there is no point debating a point with someone with such an entrenched view (and obvious dislike for the school)?Unhelpful observation - we don't need IS, Cyclo, and Strokeside wasting time compiling win/loss stats for the past 48 years. They used to beat Scots regularly, until the Lambert era that is.When has Grammar regularly beat anyone (post 1965). I would guess they have more first xv wooden spoons than anyone else, post '65? Hey but that's a guess, no-one keeps count.

EDIT: And the fact that Scots were regular basketball wooden-spooners until quite recently, it's quite likely that Grammar beat them reguarly in that sport as well.
