I have the group Christmas lunch on the 23rd, but could make a post-6pm appearance, most likely.

As I have the trip from/back to the Gold Coast, earlier the better for me and is there a legal requirement to be in the city.

The Heritage Belgian Beer Cafe's in Harrington Street, a stone's throw north of Grosvenor Street. If you know where the Regent (now called the Four Seasons, but you know the pub I mean) is in George Street, Harrington Street's the street behind it. The Brooklyn Hotel's on the corner of George and Grosvenor Streets, right next to an office block called Grosvenor Place; the HBBC's behind Grosvenor Place in Harrington Street. If you go up Grosvenor Street from George Street you'll come to a quaint little church, St Patrick's, on the corner of Harrington Street. Turn right before the church and the HBBC's about 30 metres along on your left.

AD, if you're coming by train, go out to George Street from Wynyard and turn left until you come to Grosvenor Street, the third street along. Should take you about five minutes, ten if you get lost.

You obviously haven't read the induction material, Moses.

I'm catching a train down and will work out which is the closest station and go from there. Lindo, I only vaguely know the names of those streets - I am a coastie raised and the time I lived in Sydney I spent all my time out in the western suburbs and avoided the city like the plague.

Wynyard. Then take my instructions.

I'll ensure the HBBC have some anti-plague venene on hand when you arrive. ;) ;) ;)

I know I am only a junior poster on here and two months travelling has not helped my posting. However, wish I could meet all you blokes but heading up the coast on Sunday.

Have a great Christmas everyone.

Massive roadworks planned on the F3 this weekend by the RTA; traffic expected to be banked up all day on Monday. Wobbly, put the trip off for a couple of days and come and have a Christmas beer with us at the Heritage Belgian Beer Cafe on Monday night.

We don't bite. I promise. ;D ;D ;D

To the Brisbane guys, have a great time. Unfortunately despite frantic efforts time and man have conspired against me 9WRT my recent surgery) and my attendance will not be eventuating.
Happy cheer chaps.
I hope you Sydney lads had a ripper of a night.

Yes, it was very good fun. Only Lindommer got banned, so it was a fairly quiet night. No pics, though. What goes on tour ...

The first resolution of the Yellow Scarf Alcoholics Club was that we should go for another binge during the Super14. Some Sydney insiders should scope out a venue that won't turn the TV over to the League at half-time. Big screen. Good selection of beer.
