Anyone up for a Christmas drink in Sydney this week, or early next week? I've got a function on tomorrow (Tuesday) night, any other night this week, next week or Monday the week after would be OK.

Who's in Sydney? I've got Ash, Biffo, Blue, Jonnosan, LG, NtA, Scarfie, Sicopath and me, have I missed anyone?
Moses, Brokendown Gunfighter

Edit: how could I miss Naza? Come in, son, you're welcome. And shouting.

Lindo, did you mean Sickopath? ;D
I might be in, depending on the day others select. Next Monday no good however, and i think my wife has plans for us to go to the movies on Thursday. Wednesday could work for me.
Let me know.

Hmmm, I'll ask my wife and get back to you. :-[

I mean, after I tell her what's going to happen, that is. ;)

I am sure there's a lot of other TYS members like Moses, broken down gunfighter, etc floating around in Sydney as well.

I play touch on wednesdays, but may be able to make some other nights. (Significant other permission permitting, of course!)

I like the concept but am not so keen. I am in actual danger of dying from alcohol poisoning this december and have 1001 things going on at the moment.

Would enjoy drinks at a rugby pub come S14 season though.

If you make it the 22nd I should be able to make it down from the coast.... where would we be looking at doing this by the way? and will the wearing of yellow scarfs be mandatory?

If there are no objections to Monday, 22/12 let's make that the date. I was thinking of either the Lord Nelson Hotel at The Rocks (the publican's a mate of mine), the Heritage Belgian Beer Cafe or the Bavarian Bier Cafe, both in the city. A few decent beers and a feed and a good chin wag about the world's problems mixed in with a bit of rugby should do it.

Monday, 22/12 OK with everyone? Yellow scarves compulsory.

I have no yellow scarf. :-[
I have a Wallabies cap, and Lindommer knows what I look like! ;D
I'll (almost certainly) be there.
Once we know where that is.

I can't make it down from Brisbane, but I will back up Lindommer as far as the Lord Nelson goes: a superb pub. Not a bad place to stay either; I can still recall watching the semi- v SA in 1999 at 3am in a room in the hotel upstairs.

Sounds good. Need to check dates but at this stage is clear, bigger problem is getting into the city but I'll sort something out.

I've got a springboks one I can lend you, heavens knows there's nowhere to buy a yellow scarf in circular quay/the rocks!

I'm in. I vote for the Belgians. I have no Yellow scarf unless I wear my kid's Banana's in Pyjama's scarf. OK I'll wear the Bulls jersey instead. At least you'll know who I am :)

OK, I've asked my wife if it's OK and I'm in.

I'll be the one in the tight fitting Stade Francaise jersey.

Heritage Belgian Beer Cafe in Harrington Street cleared for takeoff at 5:00pm on Monday, 22/12.

I should warn you blokes: this holy site used to be the precinct of the nuns, and my wife used to go to school here. So behave yerselves. Just think; we'll be drinking Belgian beer where she used to do her homework many years ago. :p :p :p
