What happens now is a top 8 tournament knockout playoff series to establish places 1 - 8 and the same for 9-16 teams

The draw looks like Pool A No 1 plays Pool B no 2, Pool B No 1 play Pool A No 2 and similar for Pool C and D
Winners play Winners and losers play losers and so on.

Ouch. I thought it would be tough taking on St Kentigerns but that is a large result.

Nudgee must have the Bronze medal in the bag.

Tough day at the office for the Nudgee boys. It shows they have heaps of work to do before the GPS season starts although this would b as tough as it gets for opposition. Interesting how they back up tomorrow.

This tweet from Kerikeri rugby about progress in the Gold Medal match:

34 mins - Try from a driving maul for St. Kent's, converted. Saint Kentigern 33 v 3 Hartpury College #sanix http://kerikerirugby.com/2013/final-results-for-sanix-youth-rugby-tournament-may-5-2013-sanix/…

It is looking like the luck of the draw in the pools went against the Nudgee boys.

It is a little bit of idle speculation, but the Nudgee team would been have a credible Silver medallist.

The St Kent's team looks to have the goods.
