This round we dont have any derbies and decided to throw this thread also in our pot. Two SA vs Kiwi clashes.

Round 3:
Saders vs Sharks
Sharks: Stefan Terblanche, Odwa Ndungane, Waylon Murray, Adrian Jacobs, JP Pietersen, Ruan Pienaar, Rory Kockott, Ryan Kankowski, Willem Alberts, Jacques Botes, Johann Muller, Steven Sykes, John Smit (captain), Bismarck du Plessis, Tendai Mtawarira.

Reserves: Deon Carstens, Jannie du Plessis, Wilhelm Steenkamp, Jean Deysel, Keegan Daniel, Andy Goode, Riaan Swanepoel.

I just have a slight feeling this match have something brewing for a big upset. The only change I would have made in the Shark team is to kept Deysel for Botes but other then that a pretty experience looking Tjark team. They are usually good travellers and the Saders low on confidense and being bashed by the Reds and McAwe only playing from the bench look ripe to be plugged by the Tjarks. Its only a matter of do they have it in their heads?

Canes vs Lions
Muir will have to work hard to get the Lions defense sorted out this week. Pretty sure with Spencer in his reigns he just may draw more Lion supporters to what they use to. Watch out for the name Walter Venter, if he dont feature in the match 22 its going to be a long hard match for the Welpies. They need a merical to even come close.

Only problem is that the Sharks have probably struggled more than the Crusaders in their two games thus far, and they have to contend with the travel.

Ja you probably right, but you should never underestimate them. They have 3 Kiwi coaches and some experiense Bok players and have the know how to upset any opponent on any given day. Their biggest problem at the moment is in the head and probably good they find themself against a strong opponent in KiwiLand. That may turn them on big time.

Crusaders:
15. Jared Payne, 14. Sean Maitland, 13. Robbie Fruean, 12. Ryan Crotty, 11. Zac Guildford, 10. Dan Carter, 9. Andy Ellis, 8. Thomas Waldrom, 7. George Whitelock, 6. Kieran Read (captain), 5. Brad Thorn, 4. Sam Whitelock, 3. Ben Franks, 2. Ti'i Paulo, 1. Wyatt Crockett.

Substitutes: 16. Quentin MacDonald, 17. Owen Franks, 18. Joe Wheeler, 19. Richie McCaw, 20. Kahn Fotuali'i, 21. Adam Whitelock, 22. Colin Slade.

Crusader will vent their spleen in a big way on the Sharks after last week. Crusaiders by 40.

Lions will come close but fall away in the final 20 minutes. They will put up a better show than the Sharks.

Just my thoughts.

Sharks to get an almighty pasting. They look clueless.
35-6 just about right. :nta: Havent watched this one and dont intend to. They have a 10/12/13 problem and no easy fix for this.

They have a coaching problem and a 1 to 15 problem. Don't get me started. Smith had the third bad game in a row. Terblanche has no fucking clue whatsoever. Pienaar is not a 10. etc etc etc. Could write a book.

Both teams were pretty bad, only the Sharks more so. Carter looks a shadow of his former self. The Boks/Sharks front row were shamed.

That match was one for the supporters only.

That front row started falling to pieces on the EOYT and it's getting worse.

BJ Botha needs to get his arse back to SA.

BJ is playing well for Ulster. Easily the best prop in Ireland at the moment IMO.

That'll teach me to not watch every game. My tipping week starts very badly.

My god man, you picked the Sharks? You deserve a slap!

I'm only annoyed that the Crusaders won by 31 points, ruining my damn 9 - 17 spread. Sharks just let them run riot in the last 10 or so.
