Crusaders have named their team:

1. Wyatt Crockett
2. Corey Flynn
3. Ben Franks
4. Tom Donnelly
5. Sam Whitelock
6. George Whitelock
7. Matt Todd
8. Kieran Read
9. Andy Ellis
10. Tom Taylor
11. Zac Guildford
12. Dan Carter
13. Robbie Fruen
14. Sean Maitland
15. Israel Dagg

16. Quentin MacDonald
17. Owen Franks
18. Luke Romano
19. Luke Whitelock
20. Willie Heinz
21. Ryan Crotty
22. Tom Marshall

Carter has been named at 12. I think Blackadder is managing Carter the same way he managed Dagg earlier in the season. He obviously doesn't want Carter kicking too much.

Pretty sure the Stormers coaches have planned well for this one. Stormers bench show they know the have to up the pace in the second half.

Replacements: 16. Deon Fourie 17. Frans Malherbe 18. De Kock Steenkamp 19. Nizaam Carr 20. Louis Schreuder 21. Burton Francis 22. Gio Aplon / JP du Plessis.

Fourie is a good impact player and wont be surprise to see him pack down in 6/7 if necessary.

Malherbe sure will come on after halftime. He won a lot of games giving impact from scrumtime and manuvrering some late penalties.

Steenkamp a lock and Bekkers backup. Elstadt can also switch to lock,

Carr should be starting, excellent on the ground and the closest we got to Schalk Burger. Versatile flanker and excellent in all the roles you want him to play.

Schreuder still learn his trade but not only a good youngster also a good leader with a cool head.

Burton Francis a better kicker then Grant and can close it with his boot if needed.

Hope Aplon is right, he sure will be more then usefull as impact player. JP will slot in 13 , Jean backup as wing and JdJ to 12.

Yep, I seriously have no idea what Todd sees in him. He has been the clear weakness of the Crusaders for the last 3 years and was the reason they lost the final last year. They should've tried to get Hore, they'd be unstoppable.

Good win to the Crusaders and a terrific game from Tom Taylor. Reds have a couple of tough weeks ahead!

refereeing was shocking in the game, two YCs for very soft high tackles (at least he was consistent, although he originally didn't want to issue the 2nd YC until the linesman stepped in and said he has to be consistent), Crusaders try came off hands in the ruck (IMO), 2nd Stormers try off a slight forward pass (might be called flat) followed by a clear knock-on. Once he called advantage over after a Dagg kick, when the ball was in mid-air: went out on the full, he got back for the scrum advantage. Didn't favour either team, though, he was bad both ways, though Crusaders probably got the rub of the green at ruck time.

Also, considering Stormers lost both their (impressive this season) locks in the first 25 minutes, they played pretty damn well

Ja deserved win for the Saders. Stormers lack the past games intensity and Bekker and Etsebeth injuries disrubted our lot. Thought Steenkamp and Elsatdt wasnt that bad and Pollock frustrated me a wee bit. Crockette drop his hand almost at will and never get penalised but still think Ginga, Harris and Malherbe was full value against some big names. Joe P look in great form again. At least we could get 1 bonus point out of the effort and Reds it is next up. The unbeaten monkey off the back , so it should be a real cracker.

Elstadt is useless. He gave away a few penalties, got the yellow card and doesn't seem to make a lot of tacles or make a lot of runs.....he's the Stormers Reuben Thorne...

Two ridiculous yellow cards by the referee spoiled a good game. But the Stormers got theirs at a crucial time as it looked the Saders were tiring. But to be honest they never looked like losing it as the Stormers were always playing the chasing game.

I agree that they were ridiculous cards but I don't think it spoiled the game. I was enthralled from beginning to end.
