Time to get the last SA franchises wheels going. They had a complete make over from top to bottom and at this stage a unknown factor to even myself. Their cut start back just when the S14 finished when they appoint the old Bok legend Kevin de Klerk. A true Transvaal and Lions man. He brought Hans van Dyk straight in as coach, also a wise move. Hans coming through their own ranks as Monnas (the high school that produce some top Bokke) coach, through their junior ranks to where he is at the moment as S14 co coach. Altho they did not make the CC semis they show one big improvement in their defense, the best of all the SA teams. Anyway the road wasnt finish, Jake White was appointed as consultant and they end up with Dick Muir as S14 coach with van Dyk and Ackers as co coaches.
Now at this very moment we only know Baywatch will lead them and their squad still have to be finalized. We'll see over the next few weeks as the drama unfolds but at this moment its a bit of shooting in the dark. This more or less is their player stock.

Many of this names not known to you lot but at least players that will value playing in the Lions jersey and with Dick Muir as coach you can be assured they'll give it their best shot.
On top of all this they have one of the baddest fixture list
Stormers(H), Chiefs (H), Hurricanes (A), Brumbies (A), Tahs (A), Saders (A), Highlanders (A), Reds (H), Sharks(H), Bulls (A), Force (H), Blues (H), Cheetahs (A)
Any win will be a bonus and if they can get to midtable on the log, Muir should be a happy man.
