Uruguay were pretty gutsy and have some skilful players, but the French 2nd team was a clear step down from their 1sts. Could have been even closer as Uruguay got within 1 point during the 2nd half but then gifted France a try by kicking the ball into their own player (effectively a self inflicted charge down). That and a few other unforced errors in the last 20 mins or so destroyed any chance they had at the upset. They also had a try disallowed for an obstruction (was the right call, but the kind of thing that sometimes gets missed). Italy can't afford to play badly against them.
