I think Scotland haven't really deserved to win this. They've been pretty poor and Samoa threw it away more than anything else. Tough to take for Japan.

Scotland are by far the worst team in the quarters. So much to play for now in our game!

Happy for the Scots and Cotter, a real shame the Japan game won't count for too much. Would've loved them to been in the QF.

As a neutral fan, that was a great game of rugby too watch. Why haven't Samoa been playing like that in their other matches?

Samoa will rue the try the gave away throwing long passes on their own line and some indiscipline in the second half. Credit to Scotland for hanging in and winning the game, but it really was a match that Samoa should have won.

Yes great game for the neutral. Been waiting for Samoa to come and play as to date they have been woeful but they were good today whilst Scotland were indeed poor.
