Normally I would be predicting Ireland to win it comfortably, but with those injuries I reckon the Argies are a massive chance. They aren't just a forward pack and have shown some real adventure wider of the ruck. This should be pretty close.

The Irish reserves really stepped up to the extent that I think they were better than the injured players they replaced. The biggest loss will be SOB however. Pretty much irreplaceable and had one of the games of the tournament to date.
Still think Ireland can scrape through but it will be a bounce of a ball. If they do then their SF opponent will likely have to face a rested SOB ready to go into beast mode.

A shame for Ireland that a run of injuries and suspensions have hit at this time. At full strength Ireland by 10-15, but they'll be up against it here. Argentina are quality and this match will go down to the wire. Big chance here for Argentina to play in their 1st RWC semi.

Was really good to see how much it meant to him. Must have been frustrating really, I mean he has looked good at Heineken Cup level for a while but couldn't seem to make the step up. Plus Sexton is so Injury prone it'll be good for Ireland if they can get a reliable 2nd fly half.

Well at least as Schmidt said all along the main thing about taking over Ireland in the long term was going from a team of 23 top players to a squad of 45/50 that can all freely interchange seemlessly. Boy that faced a test last night at half time with POC and Sexton out with only a three point lead. The test was passed by winning the game by three clear scores which shows some serious depth.
Gutted O'Mahoney is out. The back row stocks are taking a hammering. Better there though than the fatties up front. Argies will be a huge test, I've thoroughly enjoyed watching them this RWC so far.

No way of knowing until its actually tested -- which may be sooner than later -- but there was word of how many extended squad members were unlucky not to make the final cut. If they can slot in as seamlessly as the replacements against France did, things could get really interesting.
