Think Po has to move to 7 and bring in another big 6, Dempsey or Lukhan don't mind. The backrow is not working, Hoiles, Kearns, Kafer and Gregan all brought it up.

Yes but problem is Christian is solid but not really the finisher you want on your bench. Maybe the better option is keep To'omua on for 80mins and have Beale as backup 10.

AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) was really only choice we had today which is bringing back the problem of only selecting 1 specialist winger.

I suspect you're right. It is important to recognise the difference playing against tired bodies makes, but To'omua has done everything asked of him and more. Might be interesting to see them (him and Lilo) flipped against next opportunities with Lilo on the bench. Beale around if needed too. Can't hurt.

Saw one called the opposite way in Super rugby, and I think one in the home tests too. Not sure the consistency with that law is there. But I agree, I believe it is OK if you are in play before the ball crosses. Any refs on here?

cyclo i'm the closest thing to a ref on my couch and the unanimous vibe-call is that the Welsh bloke was fine. Play on.

Not a ref but I the reality is Toomoa needed to find touch....I am perplexed on the Kurevi carry penalty.

Kurevi has lost ball in contact 5 times.. it cost us big time. but he is our gain line man.. i do not know how to solve it.

A metaphor for the current wobs, our best player can't pass or hold the ball

Well done Wales, too good on the night

I'd have Dempsey as a reserve - mad energiser bunny to come on and get stuck in. They definitely need to look at other combos in coming games. They might also be "managing" Pocock's recent injury and see him rested too. Just spitballing this one. It'll be interesting.

Why? Everyone here was saying we would be dominated at set piece today because of selection, our line out and scrum were both superior. He selected Foley as he was our 2nd fly half based on past performances (up until the 10 minute mark). I don't think Cheika is telling the guys to be half asleep for the first 20 minutes that is a player issue.

Cheika then changed the game up at half time and reacted quickly to us getting one of the worst penalty decisions I have ever seen, followed by a dubious intercept try.

I don't think he should be coach after the WC as he has a trash record but today he did alright.
Foley shouldn't have even made the squad based on performances post 2018 super rugby
CLL missed the game due to accumulated fatigue, I attribute that to the self confessed non-believer in sport science, either that or he's a liar. Not to mentioned the calf tears he instigated back in Jan.

Dave was monumental tonight, literally kept us in the game when we were getting blown off the park.

James O'Connor looked really threatening today.

As a Reds fan, I have watched alot of Kerevi and I think he has plenty of rough edges. His ball carrying is world class, but he so often doesn't pass when he should, doesn't position himself well in support and when isolated doesn't have the ruck craft to "push the egg" out the back (make sure we don't lose it). When he had the ball ripped out of his hands I was pulling my hair out.

Hes a superstar and one of the first players picked, but I think his strengths sometime patch over his deficiencies.
