Oh shit

Team announced 5.30pm tomorrow

Players miss training all the time during the week, I know it's a World Cup but unless it's something serious we don't need an article every time a player misses training.

Also interesting that Hooper took over lineout calls at the end of the Georgia game. I thought it was Leota. Hooper's got a bit to learn.

While he was injured at the Brumbies, he spent a lot of time lineout planning etc, and working with the coaching staff on it. I think his good enough to do it; he just needs the experience. His first hit out wasn't spectacular though.

Does anything think Donaldson may be getting a shot at 10 over gorden this week with the other on the bench? He was only picked to assist kicking so why weaken 15 when gorden is not doing the job and move Donaldson to 10?

No. I think Gordon is the 10 and Donaldson the 15 unless something dramatic happens with their form.

Eddie’s put a lot of trust & faith in Gordon, think he sees him as the man to take us all the way

That Georgian non try, that Marky Mark (Nawaqanitawase) knocked out of his hand across the line is not good watching by Donaldson. He bit covered a man Vuni already had, then got palmed off by the winger. He owes Mark a beer.

Yeah Vuni was screaming and gesturing for him to push out too - not good D from Donaldson in that instance at all. Was the biggest blip of his night imo

It just feels if he needs to bring kellaway back to 15, he has lost faith in gorden kicking so could see this happen - not that it will but may be a chance with Donaldson at 10
Donaldson isn’t a great defender however gorden has been missing tackles each game so far, and not kicking goals and suspect kicks in play and to touch for penalaties Gorden’s value has dropped

Gordon kicked very well out of hand (mostly) and is definitely a better distributor, ball runner and defender than Donaldson. Can't see him being dropped for Donaldson purely on the back of goal kicking.
I rate gorden over Donaldson as well but he is not kicking goals. And has missed kicks to touch, and missed tackles so just offering an opinion
I don’t think it will happen yet wither but jones had swung some pretty drastic changes after most games so would not be surprised to see anything atm

Can’t happen………or at least should not. He will have 125kg torpedos coming at him all day until the dam bursts, which might be early. Maybe Donaldson starts on the pine and comes in if our goal kicking is not going so well? He kicked well last week but his percentage this year suggests that may not always be the case. Hopefully Kellaway is back in the 23 and Slipper and TT are available.

As much as I think Kellaway has been hard done by he is now shaping as the perfect #23 option. The bench is crucial in these games so he will still be very important. I can see a situation where either Donaldson comes off at 60 mins or Gordon comes off and Donaldson moves to 10.

That is the obvious solution anyway, but more likely Eddie keeps picking Suli at 23
