You knew the game was over when our bench came on. If we can’t take a lead with our starting XV, we’re buggered. Uelese, Nonggorr, Vunivalu, Leota aren’t going to dominate.

Glad also that Ikitau is fit and ready to get on the piss with the Brumbies boys in Japan while we're carrying multiple injured players and Petaia is repeatedly kicking the ball away in the attacking 22
This has very clearly been the game plan all season and all tournament - unfair to single out Petaia, especially when Ikitau would likely be instructed to do the same

Wallabies were hot garbage today, and it was the basic skills of the game that they were found wanting in. Poor handling, poor kicking, runners being isolated into contact, poor and ineffective clean outs

I don't care who the coach is or what the game plan is, these things are supposed to be bread & butter things for any rugby team, amateur or professional. We are a nation of great athletes and with abysmal rugby IQ

if Gordon isn’t trusted, Donaldson to 10 and Kellaway to 15. That won’t do shit for our ruck retention though. Our backrow was anonymous today. I kept waiting for McReight to come good today but he was kept out of the game, Botia was 10x as good.

What a fucking mess..The kicking away of ball to one of the strongest returners in the tournament. Breakdown was absolute shit, the only turnover came from Foketi for fuck sake and the support for the runner was almost non-existent. The forwards were slow everywhere.
Penalties again and what the hell was going on in the kick-a-thon with 12 to go. Ulese needs serious tackling practice as the first thing you should learn it put your head behind the guy your tackling, could have broken his neck.
Jones' tactics to kick the ball away or trundle it up but stay out of the breakdown was appalling. It was like a slow train wreck watching the guys trying to play 3 then kick rugby.

Did you miss the penalty and him getting bashed off the ball, falling off tackles?
Think you might not have been paying attention there, McReight didn't conceed any penalties in this game. Valetini gave one away for not rolling away when McReight got on the ball at the ruck, but the ref was clear that McReight was fine and the penalty was for 8.

HAY GUYZ, anyone see the "lollercoaster" GIF that Slim cruelly posted after the All Blacks lost to France?

Oh.

Nevermind.

I found it.

It's hard to see how this is even going to help Gordon, Donaldson, McReight, T.Hooper. They are going to lose all of their confidence. And yes Donaldson has been fine at 15, but he's probably slated to start at 10 next time and who knows how that goes against Wales. You shouldn't ever be playing your less than 10th career test match in a RWC when you are the starting #10. It's ludicrous. Anyone with a brain could have foresaw that Gordon might struggle mightily under the bright lights. Except for so-called genius EJ (Eddie Jones) (Eddie Jones).

You gotta wonder what the likes of Quade, Foley, Kellaway, M Hooper, Samu are thinking/saying behind closed doors. If I'm Kellaway I'm saying F this I'm taking more $$ to go to France or Japan.
You can’t start Donno at 10.

It wasn’t Gordon’s best game but look who he was paired with White has to go. The 9/10 combo will look a lot better when Tate is back

DC to expect him to win at the breakdown when there was no support is a big call but not his, or most of our forward's brightest day, Bell was outstanding but the rest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Warns them and specifically Tuisova about repeated high shots a few minutes later lets him come in with a swinging arm on a player who’s already been tackled. Makes the comment no foul play and we play on Droasese’s shoulder charge on Marika was that blatant and it was absolutely disgusting that the ref let it go.
