The game here needs to be blown up and completely re-built. Does anyone have the will to do it?

Unless you’ve got a time machine, it’s far too early to assume this isn’t good for his development

Hes a tough kid and will learn and probably bounce back well against Wales

Playing a bad game isn’t unique to young guys
Remember that Gordon was a particular target for Fijian loose forwards, while at the same time he was on the back foot as a result of our forward pack getting out played.
Yes, he will learn from that game.
Lesson in playing with a flyhalf whose experience should have put more options on the table to protect Carter (and by that I don't mean multiple box kicks).
I hope he plays against Wales with Tate McDermott offering more options.
So am I saying White is a shit halfback nowdays?
Yep.

More concerned about the lack adaption by the loosies, happened against France, now Fiji

It is always a smart plan to make the playmaker a speed bump (every time Andrew Johns played a Brian Smith coached side he would top the tackle count)

But where was the defensive adaption?

With Skelton definitely missing there is room for flexibility in the 6 & 7 selections. I'll be interested to see if anything is done with that.

Any chance of a 6-2 bench this week if they pick someone like Kellaway at 23?

if so I’d have Faesslar, Slipper, Zane, Arnold, Leota and Gleeson

Surely Tate will be named captain!
You'd think it would be either him or Porecki, with whichever one it's not being named vice captain along with Slipper, and Kerevi reserve captain of the backs and Valetini reserve captain of the forwards.

Quite funny so many people thinking Andrew Kellaway being brought into the team suddenly changes our fortunes.

Without Skelton and TT, our forwards are going to struggle to lay a good foundation. We could bring back prime AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) (Adam Ashley-Cooper) or Mortlock to play 13 this week but I simply don't think our forwards have the chops to give us enough good ball to make anything happen.
Mate, if you think Kellaway can't play better than Vunivalu then you're suffering a serious eye challenge.
BTW I agree with the lack of go forward ball from our forwards, plus all the other defects around loose play.

Neither. I think we have to play them off the park and score points from the off to win this one. Which won't be easy, but is certainly possible and requires a performance which is definitely within us. Their forward pack isn't good and even with Skelton/Tupou out, we should have the wood over them.

But if we get into a tight one, trying to ice a win/come from behind in the last 20 they will have too much experience between Williams/Biggar. So can't risk getting to that stage.
