The old "they got every single 50/50 call."

Wallabies first try should have been a penalty to Fiji and Petaia should have been carded for foul play.

Perhaps not EVERY 50/50 call....
Very much seems to of conveniently slipped a few minds that one Bullrush, and was actually a pretty kickable penalty too.
But like in any test I think we can go through and find penalties that were missed, in our opinions.

But on the thread title, I think the organisers have been good, the only 2 games really of interest (to me) are this one and Boks/Ireland, both at 8am ,so very cibilised over brekkie games to watch. I can't actually decide on who will be favourites for either game yet .
Still I got a weekend of NPC to worry about first!

I am assuming they are very happy with where he is at physically and by virtue of what his injury was and how it was repaired, he's not at risk of re-injurying it.

Now that he's ramped back up, he should be able to play big minutes because he hasn't played a lot of minutes this year and is very fresh.
If the assessment is being made by the same S&C team that had tupou doing those stupid 300 kg lifts I would tend to be thinking my response would be more along the lines of

"Aye, you do, do ye?"

Just got a note from my ex stating in very emotional terms that she is totally over the attacks against players. Her view is they are young men over there doing their best for Australia and the media are ripping into them. Her view is Eddie first, the players a very distant second. I agree with her for one of the few times in our many years together.

lol how is squatting stupid? A hamstring strain is a lot more likely to have occurred due to running loads

The danger now is that EJ (Eddie Jones) (Eddie Jones) will, or already has, lost the confidence of playing group. Hope it not to be the case and we can somehow summons a win to give ourselves a shot at going through.
I dunno if he has lost them yet. I think a win will help definitely.

Just checked with my S&C adviser and typically for maintenance/tapering you want high loads and low volume. I haven't seen the video but if he did a couple of lifts and that is a normal weight for him, it may not have been all that bad.
Lets stick to how bad Eddie is. If Aust lose to Wales, and beat Portugal, he'll have matched his 2007 Reds coaching record of just two wins in a season.

They are professionals, they get paid good money to represent the nation. They should just suck it up and do their best.

While none of us really know, it certainly doesn’t seem like he’s lost the team. As bad as they are you can’t really accuse them of a lack of effort

Well thats it. They put in 100% effort but they are chasing their tails if they do not buy in or understand the game plan. Or the game plan is just rubbish and/or not suited to the group.

How are the bookies putting Aus as favourites?

Honestly I think the gameplan stuff is over hyped. It’s basic skills that are letting us down

I’m pretty certain the gameplan isn’t to kick the ball dead and go isolated into contact

They played the same game expecting Slipper to replicate Tupou and Arnold Skelton. It's idiotic.

The whole gameplan is braindead. Its like Cheika but worse where, instead of running from all angles, we kick regardless of what's in front of us.

Since 2015 the only coach that has brought any degree of nuance to the Wallabies game plan has been Rennie.
