Match officials:

Referee: Wayne Barnes
Assistant Referees: JP Doyle & Angus Gardner
TMO: George Ayoub

Live on Fox from 0145 AEST Monday

Hansen has stated he'll put out his best available side & everyone but Naholo should be available (Nonu didn't travel with the rest of the squad due to illness but has now joined them), probably know more after their first training run today UK time.

Both teams will be hoping crucial decisions don't come down to a logical and obvious ruling by the TMO.

^^^^^ aye, Barnes doesn't worry me half as much as George I-boobed does :)

He probably should. We've lost 4 out of 8 with him as ref (from memory).

Anyone see the potential for an upset against the Argies? I don't. Can't wait for the game. Gonna be some sleepy days at work for the next two months.

Really looking forward to this match, shown at a very respectful time of 0930 here in Van., served up with pancakes and this fine BC brew!

Me either but it'll likely be closer than Christchurch, seems to me Argies kept a few of their better players on ice & were targeting Aus & SA as more beatable.

Haha, I'll definitely give it a go provided France comes second ! I don't fancy Ireland's chances against NZ in a WC finals match tbh (not that I rate France's much higher these days)

I was actually daydreaming just before about Ireland beating NZ in the final (god knows why). Was thinking that would probably be the only loss I could derive some enjoyment from. Ireland beating NZ for the first time ever in a rwc final having come so close very recently.

Well I for one do hope NZ beats Ireland if such a final arises ! Ireland / Wales / Argentina would be very hard to swallow as a French, especially Ireland. Even a loss against Ireland in our pool game would be a disaster considering WC history: 3 wins (36-12, 43-21, 25-3). But PSA has brought this team to unexplored lows, nothing surprises me anymore... Anyway, I digress.

NZ by 20. I hope to see a lot of that magic NMS step.

All Blacks: Ben Smith, Nehe Milner-Skudder, Conrad Smith, Ma'a Nonu, Julian Savea, Dan Carter, Aaron Smith, Kieran Read, Richie McCaw (c) , Jerome Kaino, Brodie Retallick, Sam Whitelock, Owen Franks, Dane Coles, Tony Woodcock. Reserves: Keven Mealamu, Wyatt Crockett, Charlie Faumuina, Victor Vito, Sam Cane, TJ Perenara, Beauden Barrett, Sonny Bill Williams.

Coupla surprises IMO, not least Vito covering lock against what's a fairly decent lineout & SBW covering midfield & presumably wing. Thought Faumuina would start but guess it makes no real difference if he comes off the bench instead.

Can't see the ABs losing this one. Argentina will be competitive, but the Barnes/Ayoub axis will be the biggest worry for the Kiwis.

Holy Crap yc to Argues at 10 minutes. Our cheque must have cleared early!

The Argies are fucking undisciplined, but they are looking good in attack; really putting ABs under pressure.
