3. Mitchell. Until he was injured his play was sublime.
2. Barnes. Beautifully understated game.
1. Burgess. Outstanding running from the ruck and passing OK.

HM to Pocock who only played a half.

3. Barnes - excellent play. Superb in the first half. Didn't have a lot of involvement in the second half, but every second half touch was excellent. Great tactical kicks, controlled the game well. Must play at 12 in the quarter final. MUST PLAY!
2. Pocock - absolutely superb in the first half. Showed how valuable he is to the team. If he'd play another 20 minutes he would have been MOTM.
1. Mitchell - great on attack, never afraid of the contact. Catch and flick pass was such a sublime piece of play. Quade would have been jealous.

HM. Nathan Sharpe - excellent game. Must oust Simmons for the bench spot next week. The only reason I'd start Vickerman is that he is the man to set the tone for physicality for the Wallabies.
HM. Burgess - good distribution, excellent ball running. Showed that he should be put on at the 60 minute mark to make an impact. His ability to sniff out a gap and break a tackle is superb. He can be a game breaker in a close game.

3 McCalman for trucking it up hard when playing 8
2 McCalman for his work at the ruck when playing 7
1 Mcalman for his stinging tackles in defence

HM McCalman for effectiveness at line out time

Awesome form leading into the finals. Burger and the boys will be having nightmares.
