I see we're gone for the Lions I opening approach. F*cken finally. Good start. Ideally need to grab another try, or two penalties, before Ireland score. Big test at this lineout given Schmidt's penchant for tricky bespoke lineout moves.....
EDIT: Or not! Though could've done without that madcap runaround in-goal!
Stupid play by Ireland. Gave away the penalty and left the wing open. If you're going to commit a professional foul at least stop the try and don’t create one.
Seen some criticism of O'Mahony being poor, but seems to be playing like he did in Dublin 2016. The rest of the Irish team less so.
Need to capitalise now we're back in their 22. Missed out last time due to him (O'Mahony). Can't afford too many unsuccessful forays like that. Even just a penalty or droppie will do for now.
