After watching the Wallabies v Wales game I am a bit concerned over the pitch at Cardiff, the surface seemed to be very weak under foot and with a lot of games on the surface in short turnarounds how is it going to hold up.

The first week of the World Cup especially will be putting pressure on the surface with games on the Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday. Also the quarter finals having back to back games over a weekend when their has been 6 games on the surface in a short period of time.

(Ireland v France is our last game of the group and the most important followed by the quarter finals being here as well)

Australia is slightly avoiding this having their finals in London but does have there first game on the Wednesday when the pitch will be destroyed from the weekends 2 games.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if the Millennium has a plastic pitch by the time the RWC rolls around.
