What are the odds of the All Blacks falling into a similar rut to the Aussie test team after Waugh, Warne, McGrath, Gilly etc etc etc retired?

They'll replace the bodies but the leadership and culture that the senior group offers is harder to patch up.

Not too much.

Read, Whitelock, A & B Smiths and Cane have all been in and around the system long enough that their personal leadership and experience of the culture should keep it going.

The production line that is the ITM Cup helps too.

Someone with more money than brains has put $400K on an AB win & will collect $140K if they win. It's the biggest bet ever placed with our TAB (previously $220K on Brazil v China at 2002 FIFA World Cup) & part of me thinks it's almost immoral for the TAB to accept it.

Anyhoo, wore my AB shirt to work today & hardly anyone batted an eyelid, tho I suspect if we lose I'll be wearing our 2IC's Wobs jersey on Monday whilst knocking back that warm & flat XXXX....... Reason #140 why AB simply MUST win:)

AB 24-19 Wobs.

Might be the NZRU ;-)

ARU were a bit smarter, they got 9s for their player payment insurance!

^^^^^^^^^ interestingly, whereas ~75% of the money NZ TAB have taken is on an AB win (& that was before the $400K went on), ~45% of all bets placed are going for the Wobs. For an NZ site I'd think that's unprecedented. I'd be fascinated to know what the split is for the .com.au & .com.uk sites.

Representing NZL - Pure from Steinlager -> Long term sponsor of the NZL Rugby team.

Score: 2.5 - Comment: Ordinary. Mild skunky lager that is sweet and thin with traces of hops and slight caramel notes.

Representing AUS - Pacific Ale from Stone & Wood

Score: 3.5 - Citrus aromas and flavours up front, medium sweet fruity flavours with abundant apricots with a mildly bitter finish.

The Judges say: Australian win by a fairly large margin.

To be fair you should have compared Steinlager to Fosters, no self respecting Kiwi or Aussie would drink either.
