Just so you don't get ahead of yourselves with the man love for the pooper, just a little reality check.;) Good luck to all for the final, and if you do happen to beat us (full body shudder happening), at least it stays in the South, and it wasn't effin England that beat us!

As noted referee basher former Scotland Captain and BBC Commentator John Jeffries was known to say "Scoreboards do not lie!"

Don't know why people are getting so tense and upset about what the other mob are doing, especially those from the far left of the respective population bell curves.

Meanwhile this from another thread.

Remember when the Socceroos made the German World Cup and all the diehard fans got shitty at the huge groundswell of 'bandwagon' supporters?

I reckon it's awesome! How often is rugby the main game in town? Even in Melbourne we're been getting front page news bulletins, multiple newspaper spreads each day and good vibes on the streets.

Long may it last!

This right here is precisely why Australia MUST win this match. Bloody Kiwis are just so greedy, never sharing any Rugby accolades around with anyone.

I mean, where is the love aye cuz?! Seriously, share some of that glory around you greedy bastards.

We even got 1/2 a page on the last page of the sports section in the Herald Sun, a feat in itself!

Just went down the street in the city of Melbourne and saw heaps of Gold jerseys. People yelling Carn the Wallabies! Absolutely loving the Wallaby fever!

Exactly. I don't care about bandwagon support - the more the merrier. This is exactly what Australian rugby needs - a groundswell of support to convert those casual fans over. The next trick, win or lose the final, will be to properly capitalise on it. Which is where we fucked up in 2003.

Actually I'm not in Bathurst, I'm at Mudgee. I'm told that any venue is able to get a special events licence for something of national significance like this and I know of at least one pub over here that will be open, but I think you have to get there by 1am.

I'd try the rugby club pubs over there - CSU are sponsored by The Eddy and Bulldogs by the Kings Hotel, so they's be a good starting point. Bulldogs themselves could be screening it at their clubhouse.

KOB, Lawson Park will be open in Mudgee

See bullrush ^^^^ shit like this is a bit of light hearted fun and good banter. However when it is posted all over australian social media then followed up by claims of humbleness you can see where the hypocrisy comes into it.
If you read my posts you'd see that I've called a lot of the stuff from some AB supporters shit.

My defence is of any of the claims of 'arrogance' etc frim anyone in the actual AB camp.

Personally, I enjoy the memes etc like badabing posted but won't post it myself out of an irrational fear that I'll jinx the ABs! LOL

As Steve Hansen superciliously pointed out to us, the Wallabies house is in order... I think he'll could be a great coach for england after the RWC...

I think both camps have displayed that humility going into the game! I thought Hansen spoke well and respectfully.

I've heard a bit of stick around about the Wallabies not addressing NZ as the All Blacks but who are we to judge the methods Cheika uses to get his team into the right frame of mind.

SeAttle is about 2.5 hrs drive from Vancouver international. Flight to London a little over 9 hours. Airfares for two was $1600.

The wife on youngest son stayed home but we were all going to go last week for the semi and final but we had a couple of commitments that we couldn't shift.

Regardless what happens, the current Wallaby lineup is one I am proud to support. The show boaters and prima donnas' have been booted, or learnt some humility. Probably something to do with not having a Kiwi coach anymore - players have regressed to a more humble, hardworking Aussie attitude!! ;)

I must admit, I'm looking forward to this RWC bubble ending.

I'd also like to say, no matter the outcome on the weekend, I think we can all agree, that it is bloody spectacular, that everyone's favourite, the mighty, the courageous, Highlanders are Super 15 champs (till eternity due expansion).

I will hold onto that like grim death should the AB's lose, because I am going to absolutely cop it if they do. haha.

The young fella is 10 and is born and bred here. I am proud to say he is a mad Wallabies fan by osmosis. His younger brother couldn't give two shits..so he stays home with the better half.
