If they don't mind my snoring and some muffled screams of pleasure coming from my beer wench du jour.

If you are going to the WC, what games are you guys thinking of going to?

I'd like to go to some Wallabies games, but really the best games to be had are between the minnows. You get to support both sides, couldn't give a shit who lost, and they're all just bloody happy to be there!

In 2003 I saw (in addition to the final :'() France v Fiji (Suncorp), Scotland v Fiji (SFS), USA v France (WIN), and Tonga v Wales (Bruce). They were all fantastic experiences. Lots of Caucau, lots of Heineken, the Tongan haka, the Wollongong brewery, the battle of the national anthems between the proud democracies of France and USA. All good.

Let's start looking at the schedule.

Here's the schedule. It's going to be a long time before the RWC comes close to Australia, the next possibility of getting it comes in 2023. You would think SA or Italy would get it before we could/will get it. So it's definitely worth the trip just over the ditch.

Me and a group of mates are heaps keen to go, do you think any travel agents will be putting any reasonable deals together? Or else its the old hitting up kiwi mates...

All of the moaning negatives about this tournament are just so completely meh. If you're worried about accommodation, then book early. Jeez, some people want everything on a plate! My son and I are renting an RV - no worries.

I figured out, I am planning to go to 5 games. No doubt I will miss out on a lot of them due to the size of the stadiums. Australia verses Ireland will be very hard for me to secure tickets to, due to the large contingent of people wishing to go to that game, some stupid ballot system will obviously exist for that game. Surely the RWC Limited could have produced some estimated numbers for who will be attending major games. No doubt a lot of Aussies will be coming down as we will not recieve a Rugby World Cup this close to us until at least 2023. And I mean at least 2023, especially with countries like Italy, Argentina and South Africa gunning for a RWC before we can get one.
