Happy I got the margin, wish Nathan had of done the drop goal for me (sorry I typed drop kick - bad habit). Obviously I was right to have a punt at that, a game like a Bronze game you'd expect players to do a few crazy things & Alexander did go for a kick there so a droppie from Sharpie was certainly on.

Angry, you nailed the margin. You nailed the scoring play that made the difference. You called it a Nathan Sharp Drop kick, You got "Nathan Sharpe" and "Drop" right, just missed that it would be him that was dropped from a lineout lift, and not him dropping a ball to be hoofed over the Crossbar for 3.

Hope the poor buggers leg is OK. A top effort to hang on until the second half before being subbed off. Hope he has another heap of games left in him.

Back on thread. If my maths is right, and the Darkness win by 79 points or more, you win the comp!

Pretty close to the truth in my case Mr Doug, all my footy was in the tight 5 and I preferred playing upfront even though I was tall for a front rower. Pity my tip for the final didn't get up as I put some $ on it, but happy to squander the dough for the high quality game that we had instead. Thanks for running this comp Hugh Jarse.

Ditto Hugh. Good work picking the score in the bronze final Mark. My club rugby was played in the reserve grade 2nd row, until an unfortunate lineout landing on the side of an ankle ended my career at age 30!
