Soccer-Crazy Brazil Opening Its Arms to Rugby
In Brazil, soccer is a religion and its stars, like Pelé and Ronaldo, are revered as gods.
But soccer is not the only game in Brazil. Rugby is the second-fastest growing sport there, behind mixed martial arts, and the Confederação Brasileira de Rugby, or Brazil Rugby Union, has started implementing a development plan to secure a stronger presence for the game in the region.
