New Zealand choking in the quarters, Australia defeat South Africa in the final. I like it.

They should have called it the Predictinator.

I've got Australia getting past The Old Foe (Samoa) in the quarters, then losing to England in the semis. NZL to beat the Poms in the final.

But if Australia lose to Ireland in the round robin, then I've got us beating South Africa in the quarters and losing to the Kiwis in the semi.

In both versions I've got ENG getting up over FRA.

Knockouts:
Likely - NZ v SA, Aust. England (Semis) Aust. v Wales, England v France, maybe SA v Ire/Aust. (Quarters)
Possibly Ire. v England in a Semi, SA v Aust in a 1/4, then NZ v Aust in a Semi.

I reckon ENG should make the final. They only really have to beat us - in the conditions you describe, we've got no chance. But ENG simply don't believe that they can beat NZL. The teams with the best chance of beating the Kiwis are AUS and FRA - teams who don't fear them, who know they can do it on the day.
