Rugby World Cup Matches OTA

Who the fuck knows what happened in that last maul.
No idea - ref said ‘use it’, which they were about to do and then he blows full time. When he says that in general play the halfback usually has an eternity to actually fucking ‘use it’. It was a great game and the result means little to me but that sort of inconsistency in reffing can fuck right off. It‘s just like the Foley call last year, no one would have batted an eyelid if he allowed it to play on. Instead ‘we’ll never know’ and it will be the talking point for the rest of the RWC.

I agree it was a great arm wrestle but I would say it seemed evenly reffed, as opposed to well reffed.
Yeah, I'd evenly reffed rather then we'll reffed as well.

But both teams played to the ref well. I think with France losing Dupont, Ireland might have the team to win it.

Match of the tournament, hands down. A Final re-match would be tasty indeed esp as boks will have Pollard & he won't be missing e.g. the one Libbok did at 8-10 down (Faf's miss can be forgiven, I think). Potential game-changer, that was.

I disagree , it will only be a talking point for rest of year by the usual I know better than the refs mob. I thought the ball was coming, and was incredibly surprised the SA half didn't either rech in for it , ot let ref know it was there. I still say the game was bloody well reffed, as there wasn't interfernce all the time , and TMO was hardly brought into game. Will do me everyday.

I don‘t disagree with any of that but that one call was still incredibly inconsistent with other ‘use it’ calls.

Yeah BOK missed heaps of calls, but id rather the game flow and he miss a few things here or there instead of getting overly involved and bringing the game to a halt. Certainly was pretty evenly reffed.

RSA left a lot of points out there.

Bit of a shame with how it ended. Now i have to listen to my Saffa in laws complain all week
