i find twitter so interesting, other than celebrity gossip mag readers i don't have any friends under 30 who use it. it's a great tool to find out inside info about rugger though so im jumping onto it.

my twitter is npivag moses, so you can hook my green and gold account up to "the twitter".

im starting to lose faith in all the ruggers on twitter, they all use iphones (shudder) im losing faith in rugby for the pure reason im stumbling upon so many jobs-ites who are into rugby

haha. im hardly a mac fan but i own an iphone.

the simple fact so many people love them means they are the most "ap" rich smartphone out there. which, to me, is basically the reason windows will always beat any apple os.

I find the players (with some exceptions) dont tweet too much, or when they do it's not that interesting (like I need to know what James Oconner is having for lunch on any given day) but there are some good rugby commentators, with links to their rugby blog sites. The G&GR ones mentioned above are all worth a follow, as are:

@planet_rugby
@tanklanning
@D_Dooley
@rugbyrants

or theres @Rugbysmartarse, for a purely pisstake update of rugby matches

My personal twitter page - @hodgoberro

Barnesy's Army is also on twitter - @barnesys_army

AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) & Schmoo are crack ups, late last night I got a mention - who knows why, probably Adam read my tweets appreciating Schmoo of late ;) - have a read for yourself

@hodgoberro @drew_mitchell has really bad teeth.. "fang teeth" shouldn't be allowed to smile... Ever..

Highlight of their stitch ups, drew slipping a jalepeno chilli in Adams Subway.......

I think as long as guidelines for use by players are put in place, which I'm sure there are, it makes good sense for the players to use it and develop some characters within the game instead of using cliched responses in the media all the time.

Some of the Tweets are a little repetetive-
"just had a weights session, all the boys are pumped"
"just had a skills session, all the boys are pumped"
"on the bus to the game, all the boys are pumped"
etc etc

My mates give me a hard time for using twitter as they think it is for youngsters but most of the people I follow are older or rugby players. It is great for finding out news as it happens like knowing that Quade was out shopping on Chapel St when his hearing was on yesterday.

Agreed. Don't know how many more times I can read "Looking for place to have steak for dinner, so hungry LOL!"
