Not quite. They will stream the NRC complete.

Which if you are a current subscriber you can access. Or purchase a season pass. Or if you don't want to do either wait 24 hours and watch it on the NRC site for free. Just don't check the scores. Fox are showing the entire NRC just on multiple platforms. Which we should be getting used to as this is where sports broadcasting is going.

If you sign up for a digital pass now it's 50% off the first 12 weeks, the entire NRC would cost you just $30.. That's 27 live matches..

If you have AppleTV you can watch it on your TV

I stream through my Xbox One so I'll be watching on my TV as well. That $30 price would be good value as I would have gladly paid full price.

Bugger... was hoping it'd all be on FoxSports. Maloney still commentating? I love the big fella, but he was hard to listen to last year - really needs more practice clearly..

TBH I'm still not really pumped about the comp though because the only side I have to support is NSW Country. Would really love if Easts and Randwick could sort some joint venture out by next season - they're rivals and all that, but I'd love to be able support an East Sydney side that covered them both.

Just put them in Blue, Green and Red and call them the East Sydney Stallions. Sounds like a good compromise of the identities to me.

Yeah well I guess you could stream it on PS4 as well, or if you have a laptop then plug it HDMI into your TV.. For me, the FoxSports App on Apple TV is the easiest option..

Great news though, I will be travelling later this year, I wonder if it will be geo-blocked?

Yeah I think Sean Maloney will still be the primary commentator broadcast on Foxtel , but should have some different talent for the Foxsports streamed versions.

Yeah I'm an eastern suburbs resident as well and would like to support a local team...I might be forced to begrudgingly support the Sydney Stars.

I was overseas recently and I couldn't watch any videos on Foxsports.com.au.

I didn't try using any of the apps that try and change your location so you can watch videos set for certain localities.

The Rams would more than welcome your patronage. Sure you'll have to travel a little further for their games but you won't feel and dirty afterwards.

Think I'll pass... as a Coogee local heading to Parra alone would just make me feel dirty :p .

I'm kidding of course, but I only ever support my local teams.

As it turns out the local Eastern Suburbs team, Eagles, are playing their first (?) game in Parramatta/Granville. The first two weeks are the only chances to catch them in Sydney.

Ha. Suit yourself. I have to agree with you on the East Sydney team. Would have made more sense than the Stars. But from all accounts Randwick has or had eyes on going it alone. I'm not against that as a Wicks fan but as a Rugby fan we need teams being able to offer the best possible quality and if the Stars proved anything last season its that the one club model doesn't work.

Yeah I'm a Wicks fan too, but for the good of the competition I'd like to see them form a JV East Sydney identity with Eastern Suburbs.

I just reckon it'd have wider appeal and would get both fan bases on board. These teams aren't like Souths and Easts in the NRL - there's a rivalry but it's not an outright hatred

Yeah, I'd prefer it to be a JV if it ever happens. Would make for an interesting jersey design debate. I think the easiest would just be green and blue hoops if it ever comes to bare.

This is the team I would support, possibly include Sydney Uni if they concede they can't go it alone.

But in either case, it annoys me that the Sydney Stars appeal to such a small demographic compared to a proven Eastern Suburbs catchment which gets nothing.

Yeah, but they can afford it.
