Rugby referees will be made publicly accountable for their decisions

Just heard off the news that the referees will open themselves to the media to explain their decisions. Saw it on NZ tv so don't know if this is being done for all countries or just NZ. Sounds like something that would be perfect for Cricket rather than Rugby since its pretty obvious you are wrong after a replay, so really this is just making them being hold accountable.

In light of the way the game is going professionally at this stage I think it could be a good move but it will certainly cause a bit of angst but it will certainly be interesting to see how it pans out.
Some of the more dubious decisions of the past might make some to squirm a little (Joubert and his like).

I can only imagine what it would have been like for Wayne Barnes having to do this. He would have got crucified.
