Have you ever wanted to double check Lee Grant’s claim of outstanding scrum performance in some obscure ITM, Aviva, Currie or Top 14 game of the past year and lacked the resources? Ever wanted to do a Scotty Allen type backline analysis from an early Rugby Championship game this year? Or just chucking a sickie with a desire to watch top flight rugby all day? Help is at hand!

I stumbled across a Youtube.com site that has good quality full coverage of most games from all the major 2012 Rugby comps from around the world (except Super 15 for whatever reason). See here: http://www.youtube.com/user/Lelostream.

I make no claim of association with it and I have no idea if it’s legal. Mods, feel free to delete this post if need be.

To me it looks fine, Jethro.
Just a cautionary note to any who follow:- NO links to illegal streaming sites will be tolerated on this thread, or anywhere.

It annoys me that games get taken off youtube when it seems very likely that they'll never be shown again on television.

It's all about licensing and rights. A broadcaster paid big bucks for the rights to produce and televise that game in a certain territory. They usually release or allow highlights for other news/sports entities, but they still retain rights.

Youtube circumvents all that.

Yeah, I understand the legal landscape. Just having a whine ;)

Yeah, I stumbled over that one too. I'm still trying to find a full replay of Wales v. Wallabies. Yeah, I know, it doesn't sound like compelling viewing but I never miss a minute of the Wallabies unless I'm unconscious.
Check out www.rugbydump.com for a great selection of highlights. I think it's UK based but it has a pretty good selection over various comps/regions.

Yeah, thanks, unfortunately I can't view it (based in Germany). Something about UMG music content - not that I want to listen to the music!

Download google chrome if you're not already using it and then download the extension 'Proxtube'

Voila
