Rugby Moment of The Year....

I'm tempted to say the first win, as that was one of the highlights of my life, let alone the year. Seeing Victorian rugby finally being celebrated was amazing.

But for me, it was the Rebels v Sharks match. Not only was it an epic game, but that the team got a standing ovation after LOSING was one of the most incredible things I've ever seen. It was then I knew the Rebels would be OK.

I was at the Rebels v Brumbies match in Melbourne, and while it was painful to watch it was great to see Melbourne finally provide this country with a decent atmosphere at a rugby match...

Probably not going to be a popular one here on an Aus board. But my favourite was Stephen Ferris in the RWC when he decided to pick up Will Genia and use him to swat JOC (James O'Connor). Not because it was against Aus or anything, simply because it was great to see Ferris coming back to his best after such a bad injury. Also it a moment of release from the months of frustration at Ireland's performances in the months prior to the game.

Other one isn't exactly a moment but Leinster's 2nd half performance in the HEC Final will live long in my memory.

If I was Irish sure as shit that entire game would have been the highlight of my year... As I am australian that was just shit, for sure...

Genias try in the Super 15 final. I was pulling my hair out during that game and when he broke through it was an amaizing feeling of joy. Kev accepting the trophy was spine tingling.

The interview with Brad Thorn that night was also something special.

The Crusaders Sharks game at Twickers was also a highlight and boy did both those sides turn it on.

I think the difference is if you went to suncorp a couple of years ago when the reds were right down at the bottom of the table, a similar position to the rebels now. And now compare the support...

Also, why would anyone want to go to suncorp, it's full of queenslanders (and you guys usually beat the shit out of everyone in any sport when they play in qld, what's with that?)

I suggest you look at that force try again to see another blatant SBW shoulder charge... Is he doing these because he's spent so much time playing league or is he just a cheap shot merchant?
