Rugby Championship 2025: Wallabies v Argentina

A quick enquiry reveals he's been sharing the #1 jersey with a bloke I've never heard of, which isn't the best sign.

Sio has stated 24 of the 30(80%) matches Exeter played in the 2024/2025 season across the Premier, Champions Cup and Premiership Cup, including all finals. Those he didn't play look to be resting/injured rather then sharing.

Looks like the Wallabies got completely overloaded with Kellaway back for the kick

Lynagh was tracking the 15 (?) with Chocobares does the cut in.

In hindsight the Wallabies should have either had Kellaway in the line with Jorgo covering the kick or Len outside of Tom to make 1-1 coverage.

The Argies also turned the scrum to allow Pablo to be supporting, Wilson was taken out as the scrum was flipped opposite and Bobby V got caught up;

Almost as if it was a well work set piece try captilized by the Wallabies not defensively setting up correctly.

But hey, lets not let that change the narrative.

If Lynagh was faster than a slowly migrating snail, he could have made it. But he changed direction and speed slower than my truck doing a 3 point turn.

Man you Queenslanders really can’t see past your red tinged glasses.
I'm not a Queenslander. I agree he didn't have the best game, missed two crucial tackles, missed a kick for touch by trying to go a little too far and it got dragged back in by the Argie back.

However, the endless talking him down and nitpicking is getting over the top. There are 14 other players on the field who can own those two tries as well.

Since this is actually discussion about the game, I'll play.

It was a solid blindside play by the Argies. Tom made a poor defensive decision in that he didn't commit to tackling either player. He was in a position that he shouldnt have to be, in defending two players.

Not sure that Wallabies set up poorly as 15 wrapped around the back of the scrum to create the extra player, Wallabies just didn't react quickly enough. Again was a solid play by the Argies, and Lyangh was outplayed. Hopefully steps up at his next opportunity.

I mean it’s a four on two. He should have made an attempt to tackle one of those two players but he’s fucked either way.

There are other criticisms that would be more valid such as his lack of involvement in the first 20 mins where we massively overplayed off 9 with all of these pop and flick passes in the forwards.

Some of these trolls had better hope their favourite player doesn’t get a shot. The level of expectation is pretty high after all their carry on. But that’s all they are, trolls.
