Carlo started in our bloodbath loss to them last year..

We lost to them by 40 points in our last meeting with a very similar team. We've beaten them once in the last four. We ain't favourites.

Somewhat amazingly we were winning that game until the 47th minute. Josh Nasser comes on and look what happens!. They put 6 tries on us after the 56th minute.

And they've beaten us twice in Aus in TRC history - against the worst wallaby sides in history by very close margins

bench is totally different other than Tate and half of the starting side too

There's a reason all the betting markets have us 70% chance of winning

If I remember correctly, did'nt a number of the Wallabies come down with a bug before the second test against the Argies, and that weather conditions were very hot on the day?

Uh huh

I'm not going to bother trying to hide my disappointment about Salakaia-Loto missing out. I fear the loss of Skelton will be felt more acutely than it might have.

Can't really criticise anything other than that.

Geez, just talking to mate in Aus, he tells me a 4.30 kick off!
Ranfurly shield game starts at 4.05 . Now I stumped, do. I just catch bits of this game, or the last half hour? Its tough being a rugby man isn't it?

Donaldson mentioned on Rugby heaven he's progressing very well with injury and should be able to integrate back with the squad next week

BOM weather forecast for Townsville on Saturday is:

"Saturday 6 September

Summary
partly-cloudy.png
Min 19Max 29Partly cloudy.Chance of any rain: 10%
rain_10.gif

Partly cloudy. Light winds becoming east to southeasterly 20 to 30 km/h in the morning then becoming light in the late evening."

Also I noticed another post stating that humidity is not expected to be high which for early September, is the norm.
So hey, from 2:30pm on, when the game starts, the temperature should drop, so lets get over the torrid weather conditions for this game.
