I'm 30 years old and I swear for at least the last 15 years of my life the Wallabies have been completely and utterly unable to catch a kick off and successfully fucking exit their own 22 after scoring points.

If we can draft in the required nuclear physicists and brain surgeons and master criminals required to pull off such a feat, then the sky is the limit.

Pollard coming back in will be huge for the Boks. They really overplayed as the game went on and the Wallabies took full advantage. Expecting a much tighter affair in Cape Town

Yep was listening to a Saffa podcast with Brendan Nel and a couple of others, and they couldn't believe how their halves got sucked into the let's run everything once they got big lead. One of senior players was saying he kicking himself for not calming them down. Says he needed to remind them they were at Ellis Park. They were really impressed with Wallabies etc, and taking nothing from them, but said they would be very surprised if same pairing there this week.

if a 6 -2 split comes back eventually would love to see

this weekend is a 5-3 still I’d prefer hooper there over Williams on the bench if Valetini and Wilson are both there

there is some depth now with Tizzano etc

it’s a blow with hooper and Gleeson going but they are still in contention going forward

Probably already been said, but I think if not for that try Suali’i’s link with the Bees would be over for next little bit. Only reason he wouldn’t go or hasn’t already is Rugby Aus dignity…

I also heard that Libbok and Willemse have stayed behind at Ellis Park, to start their new careers as turnstiles

We should have Charlie Cale back after injury and he has that ability others are talking about here to back up breaks as well as make his own. And remember, he did start at No 8 in tests before his injury.

He’s gotta get back to playing regular footy. I would say Uru and Samu ahead of him now. Brial might even be considered ahead of him.

Is it time to start talking about what we're prepared to do to keep Schmidt in the job? How do we get more money to throw at him? Can we sell the Waratahs? I understand he wants to be closer to home, I'd be happy to relocate the Wallabies to the North Island if it seals the deal.

I think Uru may have slipped down the order a bit with how effective the pack has been when they go direct and aggressive. He suits a looser style.

Samu will be looked at no doubt and I think Brial has huge potential with the leap he made this year. Reminds me of Ben Earl quite a bit.

I got confused by the "Bees" term in the post but I now understand that to be short for Wallabies and the person was suggesting that the only reason Sua'ali'i hasn't been dropped is to preserve Rugby Australia's dignity?

We're 5 from 9 in tests Sua'ali'i has played which includes wins over England at Twickenham, the British and Irish Lions and South Africa at Ellis Park for the first time in 62 years.

If Rugby Australia had been offered that sort of start to his test career they would have signed up on the spot. It's hard to imagine this could be going better.

That's not to deny Brial is an extremely promising talen. One for the future, maybe RWC 27, but not realistic to say he has surpassed a regular Super Rugby and test player.
