Little surprised to see holland back to the bench
He and Vaa worked well at 5 and 6
I would have had Parker on the bench still
They had to have both savea and sititi at 7 and 8 so happy with that
One thinks ioane and proctor are on a knife’s edge and lucky to be there
I think they figure Holland has had a big workload for a young lock, and Boks are perhaps the time to go easy on a young lock. Coming on later,I think works at this stage of his development.
Geez the interest in this game seems huge here in NZ (although there always a lot). Between that and the shield, I think a lot here have forgotten an important test across the Tasman. Just reminds me how huge this AB/Bok rivalry is, if I needed reminded.

Springboks: Willie le Roux, Cheslin Kolbe, Jesse Kriel (captain), Damian de Allende, Canan Moodie, Handre Pollard, Grant Williams, Siya Kolisi, Pieter-Steph du Toit, Marco van Staden, Ruan Nortje, Eben Etzebeth, Thomas du Toit, Malcolm Marx, Ox Nche. Reserves: Jan-Hendrik Wessels, Boan Venter, Wilco Louw, Lood de Jager, Kwagga Smith, Cobus Reinach, Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu, Ethan Hooker.

Not bad for a bloke who a month ago wasn't even going to be on the plane over...

SA paying $2.45 on tab.co.nz which I find more than a little surprising.

Would've liked to see Fainga’anuku on the bench. It's wet, brisk, the forwards are the best part of the team, and it's being played in Auckland. Which means
Time to go Old Testament on these foreign interlopers.

Let the diesel fumes of the Blues Killdozer waft up off the hallowed turf and flood the fevered brains of those entrusted with this weighty legacy.

To ascend to Valhalla is to go biblical yet to ascend to Eden one must pass through the eye of jesus I hope no one's read this far FFS I talk some bullshit at times

That was what I call test rugby. Both teams hammered themselves to a standstill. If anyone watching that doesn't understand that to me. this is the ultimate rugby rivalry!

Great game, could have gone either way but in the end the Pacific Islands Combination side was the better on the day and deserved winners.

Boks gameplan was downright boring and why people are turning off rugby
Maybe a rule around only making a box kick from your own 22?
ABs did enough particularly with the injury toll they have at the moment
Wouldn’t mind seeing Love at 15 and Jordan on the wing next week
Missed it but what happened to Narawa?
