I was thinking the same thing. And is it a possible opening for a few last minute “left field” candidates from outside the squad?that barbarians team will be interesting. I wonder if it means each team provides a few extra squad members so they get some game time?

With Uru not making the wallaby squad I wonder if he was approached to make the 7s team.
I rate Uru, good Powerhouse boy. But does not have the game for 7s. Kerevi
should not be in the squad either, does not offer anything valuable to the Aus 7s side.

Any Idea when they are naming the Barbarians?
The Aussie team comes across as a "safe" bet no real outliers / game breakers apart from Kerevi.
Mark Nawaqanitawase seems to be in Townsville so I dare say he is one.
