Come on. He had support wide both sides but decided to take on the tackle rather than target closer to one of the supports. It's still 70m though.
Yeah, needed to look for McReight. Reds probably a bit frantic in the ensuing phases and could have gone over if they slowed it down. Still a good result given they had been stuck on their line a man down.

Feel for Mogg too, love the bloke and was looking forward to seeing him play. What was it? 5Min?

Nah, the real opportunity was Flook on his right, that’s where he was headed when he got brought down. McReight was well covered

You can't judge those actions from a still. I'm happy to concede the awesome run, Very. And at that point I guess he's easily earned the right to do with it whatever he wants.

yeah, the still doesn’t tell a lot, but the point was support was too far away and he knew that so he tried to head towards Flook. Maybe a bit late but understandably had his ears pinned back prior

That’s the issue when you start at red and look for mitigations, you basically need no head contact to get back down to penalty only.

Sure. I don't know though. As a loose forward it used to be you'd rejoice a game where you sacked the 9. Or 10.
