half time 14-14. sitting on the hill crowd smaller than I thought it would be.Though not to be unexpected given how the game has been promoted locally.

Look I'm a huge Qld Country fan but frankly, this game is hard to watch.

Understand the sentiment Sully - was quite messy and very stop start.

Amongst it all there were some very moments from a few players - Petaia, Feauai-Sautia, Daugunu & ASY (Angus Scott-Young) all had some good moments.

Congrats to Paddy Ryan on his last game in Australia.

yeah QLD Country are far from their best at the moment and the Eagles were just scrapping away.

Not a fantastic match but a good result for QLD Country lads. Can't help but think they are not in the form to challenge for the title this year though. Still plenty of quality players, as TSR pointed out.

Agree Reg - as a team they were scratchy. Tight 5 not quite hitting the mark and a few to many promising moves killed off with poor/sloppy play at the end.

But then if your not in it, your no chance - so at least they will get a crack.

Way too many pedantic scrum penalties, to both sides.

The Eagles scrum at the end suddenly came good.
