Chiefs 22 phases within the Reds 10m and couldn’t score. Nothing to complain about there.

Great for the Reds to hold on there.

First time in a while I’ve thought the Kalani Mitchell sub was a great move. He put in a great box kick and made some good decisions in attack and defence.

Great effort by both teams. Reds did well to hold on at the end, very good defence. Surprised that Faagase didn't get carded for that head clash.

Chiefs are going to need a whole week for recovery, going to be some sore bodies there now coping with a flight. Tough price for a loss that they will have to be thinkign should have been otherwise.

You wouldn't think that the Red pack was giving 50kgs away.

So great being here live for that one. I felt that familiar creeping terror of the late, heartbreaking loss to a Kiwi team that Australian rugby fans know so well, but so proud of how we hung tough. Can’t wait to watch the replay!

Also great hearing how vocal the fans were, particularly that mega roar at the end. Go Reds! Go rugby!

Full credit to the Red's defence and discipline at the end there, but what were the chiefs doing?

They seemed like they were trying to kill the clock with slow one off hit-ups for 3 minutes. Didn't really challenge the Reds at all.

Was the plan just to get a random penalty somehow?
