I wonder if the tactical decision relates to Fardy’s on field communications?


When Angus called back the try there appeared to be an interesting “interaction” involving Fardy, who appeared to communicate some suggestions and directions, and when not getting much reaction from the intended recipient, appeared to reiterate them in a more stern manner before appearing to cease his efforts and depart in frustration at the lack of response. The other individual, who I believe was requested to act as the advocate for the team, seemed to maintain a confused and hesitant demeanour, as to what actions to take through the duration of the incident which concluded with the recipient appearing to undertaking minimal advocacy on behalf of his team as I believe he was requested.
