Changes have been made to the back row formation, after Charlie Cale succumbed to an injury suffered in an off-the-ball incident from last week's Super Round encounter with the Chiefs.

Backline is actually looking pretty good, the issue is the depth in the forwards, set piece and defence.

We basically need our top 13 forwards available every week to be competitive which is the issue at the moment as 4 or 5 of them are missing

Bench forward Cadeyrn Neville won't play against the Force, recovering from stitches he needed after a sickening blow from Jared Proffit with the Chiefs prop copping a three-game suspension as a result. Lachlan Shaw comes into the reserves for his potential debut.

This match could define the season for the Brumbies. Lose to the Force and I think it will indicate a lot going on behind the scenes about the Brumbies future beyond 2024. A win will see them back on track for a better year than they might have expected after the huge loss to the Chiefs, but a big win would probably be required to think they are a threat to others this year.

I think it will be a closer game than the odds seem to be saying. Brumbies by 7 - 10.
