Round 13: Force v Waratahs Saturday 5:35pm Perth time

The Ghost of Raelene

Simon Poidevin (60)
The Waratahs simply have no choice but to go all in on an experienced and world class coach. They have some great young talent and with the demise of the Rebels and some luck with injuries, they can put a top 4 side together for 25.
The missing link for 20’years has been that coach.
The only one in that category that would have the interest/passion and be accessible is Chieka who now I love the idea of. Joint needs a kick up the ass and attitude change. He also drags some eye balls to the game (yes people said this about Eddie) but I don't think Cheika and Eddie are the same type.

Any other world class coach (O'Gara etc) would be out of reach financially and the dent it may make to your career. It's a step back job right now even trying to see the idea of the strongest junior base blah blah blah.

Edit** Wonder if RA would go tickle McKellar's feet. Thinking long game about having him back in Aus for a post Schmidt life. You did well with the Brums. Get something out of the Tahs carcus and you're a lock for the Wallabies.
