Reds announce team for Culture Round clash at Suncorp Stadium

Queensland Reds co-captain Liam Wright and lock Seru Uru will return to face the Western Force in Round 10 of Harvey Norman Super Rugby Pacific at Suncorp Stadium this Saturday night.

Surprised but happy to see Wright back, thought he'd be out longer. Would prefer Smith started at lock with Uru on the bench to come on at either 6 or 8, he's been looking worn out playing in the second row and I'd rather see him get 20-30 minutes to rip in from his preferred position.

Should do, he's rehabbing a knee injury but is expected to be available in a couple of weeks.

Petaia's looked like a more effective option at fullback than Jock has in recent weeks imo. I expect there will be a bit of position sharing going on between them too

Campbell is 15, 23 or not playing imo. I just don’t think he’s a very good winger. Seems to be bundled over the sideline a lot.

Been covering for the Reds deficiencies at lock all season and it does not suit him.

I like the idea of Petaia getting time at fullback from now through to TRC and RWC. It gives the Wallabies better depth even if Petaia’s not the regular starter. Gives him time to prove his case.
