wouldn't mind seeing that last play again. Looked a lot like the ruck was well formed before Liebenburg got his hands on the ball?
Cheers thanks(I rewinded) There was no ruck formed, just him and Genia wrestling for the ball. Could call it a number of things there, but the most positive play was the Stormers guy on his feet.
Even if he was late, it was probably the only breakdown the entire play there where the Reds hadn't sealed the contest off so any complaints are going to appear selective at best.
Hats off to the Stormers defence. Reds attack stuttering big time. 1 try from the last 4 matches. Incredible!
Yes, ordinary but you might want to fact check that. Sharks match 2 weeks ago.
shattered. Solid game from QC (Quade Cooper) overall but quite obvious that he has given up on the wallabies jersey. Didn't play to Deans' requirements whatsoever and good on him for doing so. Very dangerous with his usual high risk errors.
In a normal world, the national coach says what he wants from the player and the player tries to do it.
In Quade-supporter-land Quade doesn't do what the national coach wants from him and we say "good on him".
WTF??
Very ordinary from the Reds tonight. Couldn't get the job done against a severely depleted Stormers line up that hadn't been going that well anyway.
Well played by the Stormers. Defense outstanding again.
Reds attack misfiring and too many stupid turnovers and farked lineouts.
You are right - it was quite good defence. I don't necessarily agree that it was the best I have seen this season - they defended well and we attacked under par exacerbating the relative differences of the two teams.I think we aren't giving enough credit to the stormers defense. It was the best I have seen this season.
The reds weren't able to get a roll on through the forwards and that is why the attack looked average against a vet organised defensive line.
you could see tonight the reds gameplan involved scoring points either by individual brilliance or by kicking penalties. Needs to be another option.
I agree Reds, he should execute the Reds game plan, but is Link really telling him to keep moving across field like that?? If so I can't see him ever getting Wallabies job! Against a good defensive team like Stormers I had impression QC (Quade Cooper) drifted across field and set up his outsides to get hit. When Quade wears red he is not playing for Dingo Deans. He executes the Reds game plan.
